What is database (DB) , DBMS and DBS ?

A database is a collection of information that is organized so that it can easily be accessed , managed ,  and updated. I one view , database can be classified according to the types of content .   

The database management system (DBMS) , is a computer software program that is designed as the means of managing all databases that are currently installed on a system hard drive or network .
